Abstract
Multimedia material in teaching has gradually become more and more important in today´s school. In order to improve the traditional way of teaching in class, various digital e-learning materials have been produced for teaching or to assist teaching in different courses. An effective teaching or learning materials depends on many factors. This paper is to investigate and compare the different influence factors of multimedia digital materials for an effective and successful teaching/learning. Firstly, a questionnaire with several design factors is going to be distributed and collected from teachers or e-learning material designers, or students. Then, the consistent fuzzy preference relation is used to evaluate the importance of these factors. The assessment can provide important information for teachers or e-learning material designers in the future e-learning material design.
