Research of Digital Library Architecture Based on Semantic Grid

This paper discusses the relevant technology about applying the Semantic Grid in Digital Library, research on the the application of Semantic Grid technology as a point of departure, explore the new ideas of implementing resources sharing in digital library via the Semantic Grid technology. Next, it addresses the problem of interoperability in Digital Library and set up a hierarchical model of knowledge management platform of Digital Library based on Semantic Grid. The paper designs a Digital Library application System based on Semantic Web, including User-Level module、Grid-layer module、Semantic Web module and Digital Library module four parts. And it constructs the whole architecture via J2EE. At last, this paper also presents a digital library security model (SMDL)in grid computing environment aims to support user taking different security policies and the source database.
