Abstract
In this paper, the interaction mechanism between bovine serum albumin (BSA) and syringic acid was investigated by using fluorescence spectroscopy, UV absorption spectra at pH=7.40 and different temperatures. The effects of temperature on the binding reaction was observed and the binding constants and the number of bonding sites were obtained. By using synchronous fluorescence analysis, syringic acid was also discussed on the effect of the conformation of BSA and the mechanism of interaction. In the molecular level, we study the binding mode between bovine serum albumin, and syringic acid.
