Abstract
Ethics in technical writing is a neglected field, perhaps because of the seemingly objective content. This paper explores ethical considerations regarding three language concerns: euphemism; obfuscation; and intentional ambiguity. Examples include short letters and memos that lend themselves to in-depth examination.
