Abstract :
Some technical issues are discussed on value-added application first. After a research on SIP (session initial protocol) from the TALK angle (TALK: the communication that TCAP carries on to form a dialogue between a pair of nodes in the network, emphasizes two parties), an INAP (intelligent network application part) over SIP protocol stack model is proposed here. As INAP is based on ASN.1 (abstract syntax notation.1), and SIP is based on text, then, some research about syntax and semantics are carried on. Relevant illustrations and applications about the protocol translation from an ASN.1-based agreement to a text-based agreement are also given in this paper.
