In this paper, the author has put forward a correlation method of QTL location using sliding three markers in RIL population and the estimating method of the recombination rate. We may obtain Pearson correlation coefficient between marker interval and phenotypic value of QTL of interest through assigning a value to flanking markers. Hence, we may test the linkage between marker interval and QTL. Meanwhile, we may estimate the recombination rate between QTL and marker using correlation coefficient R under certain condition.
