Abstract :
This paper analyzes the disadvantages of current popular database connection pooling technologies according to the special requirements of NMVS (Non Motor-Vehicle System) system and puts forward a new proposal of self-adaptive database connection pooling. This new proposal can dynamically adjust XML configuration parameters based on application scope of NMVS, and then select the corresponding management strategies, read-in the optimized configuration parameters during initialization every time, realize the self-adaptive of connection pool. This new proposal is applied in the NMVS system. The comparison test shows that this new proposal achieves effective management on connection resources and improves executing efficiency of database.
