Abstract :
In this paper, a HLA-based hierarchical architecture for the CTCS HILS system is proposed to achieve better structural properties including expansibility, reconfigurability, loose coupling and finer modularization. The overall structure and some key points of the architecture (i.e. HLA infrastructure, event scheduling mechanism, message dispatch mechanism, and equipments access mechanism) are explained in sequence. The effective solutions to some special problems (i.e. the federate division and the train transfer) are proposed, too. The successful application of this architecture shows that it can well satisfy the requirements for constructing a large-scale complex distributed HILS system, such as the CTCS HILS system.
