Abstract
We have developed semiconductor tapered amplifiers and systems for high-power and single-frequency emission combing the excellent spatial and spectral beam quality of a feedback-insensitive solid-state microcrystal laser and the high electrical to optical conversion efficiency of semiconductor amplifiers
