Abstract
Globalization has become one of many important issues in engineering management education. This paper explores this internationalization through first hand experience as a Fulbright professor at an engineering university in Germany. First, the changing conditions facing education programs in the European Union is described. Then, the process and focus of engineering management studies in Germany is investigated. Finally, the implications of the changes in the European Union programs and specifically the German programs on US education programs are highlighted.
