Abstract
This paper presents the Key Success Factors (KSFs) of a ldquoBIRD partnershiprdquo, as identified following many years of experience. The BIRD Foundation is the Israel-U.S. Binational Industrial Research and Development Foundation, established 1977 by both governments. The KSFs were identified in a recently performed retrospective study of the last 10 years of projects. An evaluation scheme based on the KSFs is presented and applied to a project example.
