Abstract
In the highly competitive world today where most of the employees of a company have an equal level of IQ, one of the most distinguishing factors apart from the cognitive skills that drive the development and progress of the company is the emotional quotient of the employees working therein. This paper tries to elucidate the need of the emotional intelligence and the factors concerned with it.
