Abstract :
An expert system, called MICROEXPERT, for designing microwave oscillators with multiple active devices and power combiners with a TM/sub 010/ mode cavity is presented. A logical structure of the system composed of deciding rules which should be followed during the design process of the oscillators is shown. The system is based on real engineering data and has a packet of files which consists of oscillator optimization programs, databases, knowledge base subprograms and supervising (main) program.
