Abstract :
The aim of thermostatic detection is to control the current injected to Pt resistor to obtain the required operating temperature. Detecting current fluctuates with temperature, and general thermostatic detecting circuit needs a long time to achieve stability and can´t remove the potential safety danger with close loop control. In order to solve this problem, we established a thermostatic detecting mathematical model and designed a PID controller based on the analysis of catalyst element performance and principle of thermostatic methane detecting. Compared it to the closed loop control, we found it better. The simulation and experimental result show that the thermostatic methane detecting with PID controller only needs 3s to determine the methane concentration, and it is superior to the general thermostatic detecting system in stability, rapidness and security.
