Abstract :
The author studies the feasibility of solving a class of planning problems of discrete-event systems using neural (parallel) computation. Specifically, he presents a neural representation of supervisory controllers of discrete-event systems. An example is given to illustrate the application of the proposed representation to the problem of planning sensorless object manipulation strategies
