Abstract :
Call Detail Records (CDR) are the computer records produced by a telephone switch containing details of calls that passed through it. CDR collection module, which is responsible for collecting CDR in the billing switches, is the key sub-module of the telecommunications billing system. If the original collection data is not accurate, it will be impossible to calculate bill accurately based on them. Therefore, the reliability of CDR collection should meet exact requirements and must be increased as much as possible. This paper proposes an approach based on cluster technology to ensure the reliability of CDR collection. Through the analysis of Liaoning Power billing system, the experimental data show that the approach can ensure the high reliability of CDR collection.
