Abstract :
When designing EM devices the problem of unwanted modes suppression arises. Dielectric absorbing insertion can be used to solve this problem. In this article the dependence of the fields resonance frequencies and the inherent Q-factor of the resonator from the location of a dielectric insertion and from its dielectric properties is analysed.
