Notice of Retraction
After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.

Moveable plate model was formed from that solute slip motion was introduced into plate model advanced by Martin and Synge, and the plate in the new model was moveable with mobile phase in chromatographic process. Unlike Gaussian equation of elution curve in plate theory, the elution curve equation for the new chromatogram model was able to express both tailing and leading peaks. Slip motion could lessen column plate number and make column plate number differ from peak plate number. The peak plate number was a new concept coming from the new model. It might nicely reflect the asymmetry of practical chromatogram peak.
