Abstract :
We have successfully developed some new assembly techniques for the prototype ParaBIT module to provide the efficient and uniform multi-channel optical coupling between VCSEL/photodiode arrays and multimode optical fibers. The modules which were assembled by using these techniques satisfied the restriction on the optical coupling variation of 1.5 dB.
