  • Abstract
Chang´e-1 Microwave Sounder (CELMS) is a main payload of Chang´e-1 Moon Orbit Satellite in the first stage of China Lunar Probe. CELMS is a four-frequency microwave radiometer with frequencies 3GHz, 7.8GHz, 19.35GHz and 37GHz. During the one year and four months´ working in lunar orbit, it got huge scientific data covering full moon surface and obtained the world first global lunar microwave emission measurements. Moreover, we obtained the world first the microwave brightness temperature map in global scale and established the Microwave Moon (MicM). MicM consists of global microwave brightness temperature maps, lunar pole microwave anomalies feature maps, microwave emission feature maps for some special areas of the lunar surface.
