After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

Aloe, a folk medicinal herb, contains various bioactive components. At present, its extracts are presenting more and more applications in medicine field. In this article, the active ingredients and affecting factors in Aloe were introduced briefly, while the applications and mechanism of action of Aloe extracts as drugs were reviewed deeply. The knowledge stated here is beneficial for understanding and exploring its medical values more sufficiently.
