Abstract :
Several methods for estimating time-frequency distributions using multiple-window methods are described. These include estimates of the generalized dual frequency spectrum, spectrograms, and Wigner-Ville-like functions. The spectrograms have much higher time resolution than standard, and the corresponding time-frequency distributions have much lower bias than conventional time-frequency distributions
