Abstract :
Standard competition capacity means enterprisespsila capability of effecting technical standards formation and transformation, and making their own technologies to be industrial standards partially or completely. In order to hold the situation of standard competition and purposely establish proper standard competition strategy and tactics, it is one of crucial bases for enterprises to evaluate their standard competition capacity quantitatively. Firstly, this paper establishes a theoretical framework for evaluating standard competition capacity through analyzing mechanisms of standard competition, then establishes index of evaluation for standard competition capacity. Secondly, an evaluation model is constructed by grey relational analysis. Finally, the model is applied to evaluate several enterprisespsila standard competition capacity. The framework proposed in this paper analyzes standard competition from a systematic perspective, introduces institutional attributes of industrial standard into an analyzing framework and helps comprehend the mechanism of establishing and transferring standard completely. The method has acquired favorable effect in practice.
