  • Abstract
The result of investigations and the development of heat and electricity sources with a thermal power of 1-7 kW and an electrical power of 25-175 W, accordingly, are given. In these generators, use is made of flameless catalytic heat sources operating on hydrocarbon fuel (propane, butane, petrol). The degree of fuel conversion on the catalysts developed approaches 100%. Highly reliable hermetically sealed modules are used in thermoelectric converters which have an efficiency of 6-8% and increased service life. The specific features of thermal processes and heat source functioning, design methods and fields of heat and electricity source application are described
