Abstract :
A highly integrated transmit RF IC for CDMA/FM handsets is presented. The CDMA transmit chain contains an upconvertor, a RF variable-gain driver amplifier, and a band select switch whereas the FM transmit chain consists of a single-side band upconvertor and a driver amplifier. The RF IC is fabricated using a 25 GHz Ft silicon bipolar process
