Abstract :
Integrating resource process has been the base for building capability of the firm and the key to achieve superior performance when facing competitive environment. Resource integration capability is regarded as a crucial factor for bridging the relation between resource integration process and venture performance. Using a contingency-theoretic perspective and resource-based view (RBV), this paper put forward the hypotheses between resource integration process and venture performance while resource integration capability plays a crucial role as the contingent factor. In order to test the hypotheses, we use path analysis to analyze 189 questionnaires and the results show that all hypotheses are supported by the data. Finally, suggestions for future research and managerial implications are also discussed according to the research results.
