Abstract :
Environmental and technological changes make inter-organizational network a vital element for the survival of enterprises. While resource-based view continues to support internal resource capacity as a major source of competitive advantage, an increasing number of researchers have realized the significance of external network. This paper summarizes the functions of both while probing into their interaction and integration in the creation of competitive advantage for enterprises. Analysis is made via a rational expectations model.
