  • Abstract
The aim of the calculation presented in this report is to get more data about the specific calorimetric effect (cathode cooling or heating per one electron) of thermo-field electron emission from metals over wide ranges of work functions (eψ=2.0-4.5 eV), electron temperatures (Te 2000-4500 K) and electron field strengths (F=106-108 V cm -1). For metals most commonly used in vacuum electro-discharge devices (Cu, Nb, Mo, W), the temperature range has been further expanded up to 500-10000 K
