Abstract :
Current distribution An image method combined with the image theory and the moment of method is proposed by using the modified reflecting coefficients of surface impedance, to analyze the input impedance of the antennas on different grounds media. The calculated data is compared with the measured data. After analysis and simulation, conclusion is drew that the radiation efficiency of the vertical wire antennas at high frequency may be changed obviously by different grounds under them. And it is also concluded that input impedance of the antenna which is built on metal screen on an imperfect ground is varied with the frequency changing and the causes are analyzed. The proposed rapid calculation method can give an alternative to the conventional one.
