Title :
Conceptual programming
Author_Institution :
Department of Computer Science, Brown University, USA
Abstract :
The author introduces conceptual programming as a process model based on his programming experiences. Conceptual programming means having programmers work directly with their conceptual models, using their own terms or languages rather than those dictated by the computer. To be useful and effective, conceptual programming must be supported by a powerful programming environment. He has developed such an environment, GARDEN, and is beginning to get feedback on its use.
