Abstract :
Recent advances in Polarimetric SAR information extractions are reviewed. Papers published in IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing and IGARSS proceedings over the last five years were included. We found that PolSAR technology has reached a certain degree of maturity. The availability of high-resolution multi-frequency PolSAR data from space borne and airborne SAR systems will stimulate significant PolSAR applications.
