Abstract :
For the back-reflection pump way, the short pulse generated from homogeneously broadened Yb3+:YAG crystal in an active CW-injected ring cavity is studied numerically. In the derived model, the pump absorption saturation and the fluorescence concentration quenching are both taken into account, and it enables the optimizations of Yb3+:YAG crystal length and Yb3+ concentration.
