Abstract
This paper presents an analysis of the propagation channel in the 60 GHz band for a Mobile Broadband System (MBS) typical scenario: an urban street with buildings on both sides. Geometrical optics is used to simulate wave propagation inside the scenario. The wideband characterization of the propagation channel, which is done through the mean delay and the delay spread, is seen to be a function of the propagation scenario conditions. Analytical approximations for these dependencies are presented
