Abstract :
The variation and the complexity of the optical access network (OAN) bring the difficulties and challenges for the management system. In some degrees, the architecture of the OAN management system is different from that of the other parts of the telecommunication network. In this paper, the architectures of OAN management system, including functional architecture, physical architecture and information hierarchy are given, and the relationships with other systems of the local network are described
