Abstract

The article is aimed to develop and research SHCAN2000 control system from a special I/O driver to the OPC standard interface. As SHCAN2000 using the FIX I/O specific driver of Intellution company, it´s limited to FIX configuration software only, limits its applications greatly. The purpose of this paper is to closely follow the world´s most advanced technology, using the OPC techniques, through the MODBUS communication protocol to achieve standard-channel connection between SHCAN and other configuration software, so that SHCAN can be applied in a much wider scope and become a truly opening system.
