Abstract :
Peer-to-Peer (P2P) technology under wireless environment is now attracting more and more attention with development of wireless communication technologies and handheld device performance. Some ant colony (AC) optimization methods on mobile P2P network can adapt topology change of wireless network, but routing query does not take limited power problem of handheld devices into account. The paper presents a mobile P2P routing method based on power-aware and AC optimization. It introduces node device power sensing in routing selection, thus balancing load of whole mobile P2P network and prolong duration of network to maximum. Simulation experiment results show that the policy has certain advantage in average end-to-end delay and network duration time, which can also optimize mobile P2P network with limited power nodes.
