Abstract :
This paper investigates the use of fuzzy expert system to increase the effectiveness of alarm generation in video surveillance. Uncertainties in video surveillance are effecting measurement and camera captures. Consequently, decision making about alarm generation is also affected. Fuzzy inference system is proposed to take into account this problem and to decide about person recognition by calculating a certitude coefficient. An application of fuzzy expert system using KINEKET camera is developed to generate alarms.
