Abstract :
A method to implement different pulse modulation schemes of Ultra-wideband (UWB) signal based on phase modulator (PM) and fiber Bragg grating (FBG) is proposed. The method of UWB pulse generation based on FBG is explained. UWB signal generation with different modulation schemes by two FBGs is studied. A simple system is setup to implement of bi phase modulation (BPM), pulse-position modulation (PPM) and pulse-amplitude modulation (PAM) schemes. The results prove our numerical analyze.
