A proposal of blind equalization for nonlinear transmission channel

Abstract :
This paper presents a new blind equalization for nonlinear transmission channel. Conventional algorithms assume linear channel, and estimate reverse system of channel using linear equalizer. But, on biomedical signals or sound signals, channels are almost nonlinear, so the performance of blind equalization algorithms deteriorates. Then, we propose blind equalization using Volterra-filter for nonlinear channels. We confirm the validity of the proposed algorithm through computer simulation.
