  • Abstract
A novel symbolic-method based on the signal-path approximation (SPA), and on a new method for simplification after the generation (SAG) of expressions, is introduced for noise analysis of CMOS current conveyors (CCs). The proposed method is based on modeling all MOSFETs using nullors, so that simplified fully-symbolic noise equations are calculated by applying SPA and SAG to eliminate non-dominant symbolic terms. As a result, simplified noise parameters like Vmacr2 n,out, Vmacr2 n,in, NFv, Imacr2 n,out, Imacr2 n,in and NFi are computed.
