Abstract
Many theoretic models for the mechanism of the PTC properties of polymer/carbon black composites are suggested. Several main models (conductance chain and thermal expansion model, tunneling conductance model, carbon black aggregation structure change and migration model, and ohmic conductance and phase change model) are analyzed and discussed. The advantages and defects of each model are indicated
