  • Abstract
The radiometric systems of remote sensing carry out researches of Earth cover on the basis of the surface microwave radiation analyses. For increase of efficiency and reliability of this analysis it is necessary to know and to understand process of formation of radiothermal microwave radiation in media. The general principles of formation of microwave radiation of media are well known; in view of the large variety of various surfaces many questions of the thermal radioemission theory have not been investigated, especially for surfaces having a complex structure. The interest in this direction is caused by layered-inhomogenous media. In this work we take advantage of a method of analysis, based on determination of thermal losses of auxiliary flat electromagnetic waves, radiating on a surface in a direction opposite to that for which radiating properties of a media are determined. Using the theorem of reciprocity the polarising properties of thermal radioemission are determined by laws of polarized absorption of this wave
