Abstract
The authors propose algorithms to develop fuzzy dynamical process models and to design model predictive controllers using these models. The multi-model approach uses a number of process models which are effective around the respective operating points and unifies the respective optimal controls by reasonable weights. Fuzzy set theory can be used to identify these reasonable weights. The application considered is the stable incineration control of a rotary kiln of sewage sludge
