Abstract :
Reverse Time Migration is a precise migration methods, however, RTM spends too long computer time which impedes its development. In the paper, the aim is to save the computer time based on analyzing the reason of it, and the Huffman coding is employed into RTM for saving the memory consumption which reduce the computer time. Marmousi model is used and the migration results illustrate that the method not only can solve the long computer time problem, but also acquire the comparative imaging accuracy.
