Abstract :
An optimum numerical method to determine dynamic parameters of absorber of power machinery subjected to nonharmonic excitation is presented in this paper. Traditionally, determination of dynamic parameters of absorber demands that an external exciting force acting upon main system should be harmonic. So it is difficult to determine the dynamic parameters of a vibrating system subjected to nonharmonic excitation. A numerical method to determine the optimum dynamic parameters of absorber associated with any nonharmonic exciting forces acting upon main system is presented based on Willson-thetas method. The simulation results show that this optimum numerical method is feasible and efficient. It can be used to solve vibration control problems in the case of nonharmonic excitation.
