Abstract
Current mirror is one of the basic building blocks of analog VLSI systems. For high performance analog circuit applications, the accuracy and output impedance are the most important parameters to determine the performance of the current mirror. In this paper, a new simple and high performance current mirror suitable for low voltage applications is presented. This circuit achieves very low input impedance, high output impedance with an accurate current copy. These characteristics are validated with simulations in 0.35 mum CMOS TSMC-MOSIS technology.
