Abstract
Compared with the AC distribution network, the DC distribution network has the advantages of lower line losses, better power quality, higher reliability and being suitable for all kinds distributed generation and DC load access, etc. This paper firstly studies on the feasibility of the ring structure network and the scheduling of distributed energy sources and energy storages in DC distribution system. The DC hybrid circuit breaker and the control strategy of DC distribution have been elaborated. Detailed simulations have been done, both in normal and fault conditions. the results of the simulations turn out that with the use of the control strategy and the scheduling of distributed energy, the fault circuit will be limited effectively and the short-circuit time will be decreased, the DC distribution network can operate efficiently and stably.
