  • Abstract
Details are given of our recent experimental and theoretical study of the frequency characteristics of a series of lighting elements. The cutoff frequencies of lighting elements with different parameters of device structure have been studied. Correlations have been found to exist between cutoff frequency structural parameters of lighting elements. The cutoff frequency will increase with the following changes: (i) increasing the distance between the gate and the cathode, (ii) decreasing the area and the thickness of cold cathode thin film material. The theoretical analysis based on the equivalent circuit model agrees well with experimental findings
