Abstract :
An improved adaptive nonlinear filter structure called the data-aided nonlinear filter (DNF), for combating narrowband interference (NBI) in direct sequence spread spectrum (DS-SS) systems is proposed. Simulation results show that the data-aided nonlinear filter (DNF) offers considerable advantages over the standard nonlinear prediction filter (NPF)
