Integrated number portability protocols for wire and wireless network

Naturally, wireless network is similar to wire network in the point of supporting number portability. Thus, in this paper, we proposed the integrated number portability protocols for wire and wireless network using the intelligent network. For this, we integrated the LNP DB of wire network and home location register/visited location register (HLR/VLR) of a wireless network. We proposed the methods for the wireless call setup protocol to use the IN service. Through this research, we examine the support of more efficient number portability services for wire and wireless telephone subscribers
